At Loria Medical we understand that Male Enhancement is a sensitive, delicate, discreet, and very private matter to discuss and treat. Our trained Cosmetic Surgeons and staff understand this well and keep all information confidential.
There are many types of male enlargement treatments available today, including surgical and non-surgical methods. The Cosmetic Surgeons at Loria Medical utilize minimally invasive permanent medical procedures for Penile Shaft, Penile Glans (Head of Penis), and Scrotal Enhancement treatments, which were developed by Dr. Loria. This minimally invasive treatment, also termed The Platinum Procedure, is discussed below in more detail.
Why is a minimally invasive technique superior to the very invasive surgical methods available today? Very simple, it is much safer, and this is what patients prefer. In addition, the minimally invasive technique developed by Dr. Loria not only is much safer, but builds your own natural collagen for the enlargement process, and this newly formed collagen is permanent. Now, as one compares this minimally invasive Platinum method, you will see that the surgical procedures offered today are very invasive and carry a much higher risk of infection, tissue damage, and suboptimal results. These surgical procedures will, in some cases, utilize foreign material or even someone else’s skin as the ‘filler’ agent for enlargement and stitch this material into your penile shaft and/or glans. These choices of materials to implant into the penile shaft in addition to the method of insertion being surgical, makes many potential patients anxious and apprehensive of such treatments.
What is the goal of a Male Enhancement treatment? The answer is simple, to get larger. Why do men want to get larger? The majority of men want to get larger to not only ‘feel’ more during intercourse, but excite and stimulate their partner to a greater degree…and ultimately have the self-esteem and confidence they have been longing for. Why would a larger penis stimulate an orgasm with greater intensity and frequency? The answer involves knowing the vaginal (and anal) anatomy. Note that the vaginal and anal anatomy are, in general, similar regarding broad structural concept and neural networking, which is discussed below.
The vaginal anatomy, and all portions associated with sexual intercourse, include the outer visible portion, and the internal non-visible portion. The outer visible portion of the vagina includes the labia (or outer skin area), vaginal opening itself, and the clitoris, which is a small mass of tissue just above the vaginal opening. The internal non-visible portion of the vagina includes the vaginal canal and the uterus or cervix, which lies at the very end of the vaginal canal – kind of like causing a ‘dead end’ street to the vaginal canal. The nerves involved, which initiate and stimulate orgasms, do not solely exist in the clitoris and the so-called mysterious G-spot somewhere in the vaginal canal, as many would think. The nerves involved with sexual stimulation involve a tremendous network of nerves that branch within the vaginal walls themselves, in addition to the clitoris. Now, when one knows this, you will now understand why one with a larger penile girth (with even a normal size penile erect length of 5-6 inches) will stimulate more intense and frequent orgasms than a 10 inch long penis with a normal girth size. Keep in mind that the psychological component to sexual stimulation is significant. When one is sexually aroused, these neural networks within the vaginal ‘organ’ could be ‘hyper’ sensitive resulting in a more intense and frequent orgasm. This aspect, the psychological impact on orgasms, will not be discussed at this time.
Why would a thicker penis stimulate much more than a longer penis? When one has intercourse it is the girth that rubs along the vaginal walls, and if one has a ‘normal’ girth, the stimulation will be ‘normal’. However, when one increases the penile girth (or thickness) the penile shaft is now rubbing along all four walls of the vaginal canal, stimulating much more intense and frequent orgasms simply due to the physical contact of the penile shaft on all the nerves in all four of the vaginal walls.
Anatomy of Human Vagina
GENERAL MALE AND FEMALE ANATOMY
The so-called ‘G-spot’ is this proposed mysterious area somewhere in the vaginal canal that causes orgasms in women. However, the only reason it is mysterious is because not many men can stimulate the vaginal walls (G-spot) effectively due to inadequate girth. The ‘G- Spot’ is actually not a ‘spot’ at all, but involves the entire vagina with its extensive network of nerves on the outer and inner portions of the vagina and vaginal canal. When one increases the penile girth size, these vaginal walls will ‘feel’ much more of the penile shaft which will result in greater and more frequent orgasms. So, as you can see, it is primarily about girth, not the length of the penis that is much more important and significant regarding the stimulation of orgasms.
For those who have anal intercourse, the same girth enlargement scenario applies, causing stimulation of the anal canal in a similar fashion.
Below is a list of most procedures offered in the United States, which includes the minimally invasive permanent filler Platinum Procedure and the invasive surgical treatments for your review.
This procedure, developed by Dr. Loria, is a minimally invasive medical permanent cosmetic filler treatment. It involves injecting a permanent filler material under the penile skin which causes collagen production resulting in permanent enlargement. The collagen produced is your own natural substance (not foreign material, not someone else’s skin, etc). This newly formed collagen is permanent, and when you achieve your desired size there will be no need for subsequent treatments (unlike many surgical procedures listed below which may need additional procedures to maintain your size over the years).
Please see ‘Our Procedures’ list on the Homepage to learn more about the minimally invasive permanent Platinum procedure.
ALLODERM – BELLADERM
AllodermTM or BelladermTM is process human skin that is sterilized for topical skin grafting or implant use. This material is used for many important skin grafting procedures throughout the body. When this product is used as a male enlargement filler agent, it involves surgery, which is not only very invasive, but also stitches in this human skin into your penile shaft. AllodermTM or BelladermTM, which is processed cadaveric skin (skin from deceased people) is the very material that is used for penile enlargement by many Surgeons. This material is purchased by the Surgeon, then is surgically stitched into your penis. This is not only a surgical and very invasive procedure (with all the surgical risks of infection and tissue damage), but it also may dissolve and break into pieces over many years. These pieces may ‘float’ under the skin and become very unstable and feel very unnatural. In addition, there are limitations on how much Alloderm or Belladerm you can place, thus limiting the size gains you may want.
ARTEFILL OR BELLAFIL
Artefil or Bellafil, is an FDA approved cosmetic filler medication used primarily for facial augmentation. This material can be used, in an off-label fashion, for penile enlargement, however, in the United States it is cost prohibitive and is not necessarily better than other available alternative fillers.
Dermal grafting, which is a technique used for penile shaft enlargement, is considered the most invasive surgical procedure as compared to all male enhancement procedures available today. The Dermal grafting procedure involves the grafting or the cutting off (or cutting out) of your own skin (surgically removing skin from the lower abdominal or buttocks areas which would need to be sutured closed) and this skin is processed (hair follicles need to be removed otherwise hair will grow after this dermal skin graft is placed under the penile skin for the enlargement process) and then surgically placed and sutured to the penile shaft. After the harvested dermal graft skin is taken, the penis needs to be surgically opened up to allow for the graft to be sutured in. As you can clearly see you not only have the surgical risk of infection and trauma at the skin grafting sites, but also have the additional risks of opening up the penis itself to stitch in this skin graft. In addition, if this skin graft is not processed properly, hair may grow under the penile skin resulting in inflammation and infections. Lastly, these grafts may disintegrate over time and behave just like the Alloderm graft potentially breaking into pieces and ‘floating’ under the penile skin.
FAT GRAFT TRANSFER
Fat graft transfer, a technique for penile shaft enlargement, is considered one of the better choices for surgical penile enlargement but is not superior to the minimally invasive Platinum procedure. Fat transfer is a surgical invasive procedure involving lipo-suction of fat from the stomach/belly area. After harvesting the fat, the fat graft material is surgically placed into the sub-cutaneous area of the penile skin. There are many potential issues and risks associated with this procedure. For example:
The transferred fat may totally dissolve even after many treatments
The transferred fat may form major clumps or lumps
The transferred fat may drop down to the base of the penile shaft and cause a ‘donut’ effect which would make the very base of the penile shaft very large and non-functional (almost like shortening your penile length because it would be non-usable)
This fat transfer method is a surgical procedure, which carries the surgical risks of infection and tissue damage
It is Dr. Loria’s opinion that the Platinum procedure, involving the minimally invasive insertion of permanent filler, is a much safer, permanent, and much lower risk option which does not have the potential surgical complications of infection and tissue damage.
RUBBER SILICONE IMPLANTS FOR MALE ENHANCEMENT
Another type of male enhancement procedure available in many countries involves the insertion of a large piece of silicone rubber under the penile shaft skin. This involves major invasive surgery and carries not only the same surgical risks as all the other surgical procedures, but carries additional risks such has a higher rate of infection (when a foreign body – the silicone rubber – is surgically implanted) and silicone rubber eruption or this implant breaking through the skin over time. If this eruption of the implant were to occur, the entire silicone rubber implant will need to be removed and the patient will need to be placed on antibiotics to prevent infection.
It is Dr. Loria’s opinion, regarding this technique, that the concept is an excellent one, however, considering the limitation of the size gains possible, the risk of a major surgical procedure, and having such a large foreign body under the penile skin which can erupt through the penile skin and cause many major complications, makes this technique too risky. Maybe with further research and testing there can be a way to insert a modified version of this silicone rubber implant in combination with the Platinum procedure, which would allow the size gains desired, and ‘protection’ from the rubber silicone implant from erupting. This combination therapy will be explored by Dr. Loria.
SUSPENSORY LIGAMENT CUTTING
Suspensory ligament cutting is a procedure that supposedly lengthens the erect and flaccid penile shaft. Dr. Loria strongly disagrees that this procedure has any value whatsoever. This involves a major surgical procedure which cuts certain ligaments located at the very base of the penile shaft near the pubic bone. This procedure typically yields not only poor results but may actually shorten your penile erect length. This procedure supposed to increase penile erect length, however, it fails to do this in the far majority of cases and at best may increase the flaccid length by ¼ to ½ inch (maybe).
The suspensory ligament cutting is not recommended.
WHY WOULD ONE CONSIDER A MALE ENHANCEMENT TREATMENT?
The subject of ‘Penis size’ and even ‘Scrotal size’ has been a topic of discussion since the beginning of time. There are numerous reasons to enlarge or change the shape of the Penis and/or Scrotum. There are medical, physical, psychological, and other reasons to alter the aesthetics and size of the Penis and Scrotum.
One very common reason to seek out penile (or scrotal) enlargement is simply this – most men want to be bigger to feel better and please their partner. Most men are of normal average size, however it is perceived that most are below average, or simply feel that they do not satisfy their partner, and this is the plain and simple answer for the vast majority of men.
There are other reasons to seek out male enhancement. For example, there are changes to the vaginal canal due to natural child birth. During a vaginal delivery (not C-Section), there may be a ‘stretching’ of the vaginal canal. This, in turn, will potentially affect the ‘feel’ of the sexual act. If this is the case, Penile enlargement will correct for the vaginal canal expansion (physical component), and the enlarged penis will most certainly increase the feel and excitement of intercourse once again.
Another reason for enlargement is for visual appearance of the penis during the flaccid and erect states. Most men do not like the way the penis looks when flaccid (or soft) or even erect. There are often jokes made about the flaccid appearance, which is frequently termed ‘shrinkage’. This shrinkage issue can be remedied by the enlargement process. In addition, if one has a penile enlargement and flaccid lengthening treatment, then the flaccid penis will be almost as long as the erect penis, and much thicker, changing the appearance in a dramatic and favorable way. In addition, the erect penis size will be much larger as well, allowing for enlarged flaccid and erect states. This new size and appearance is far different looking from the original flaccid (shrunken) and erect states. This new enlarged flaccid and erect girth and increased flaccid length will most likely be a visual aid in increasing and stimulating (sexual) excitement for the male and female prior to intercourse and even possibly exceed expectations regarding the level and frequency and intensity of orgasms achieved.
Medical reasons for considering the alteration of penile size and shape are numerous. Diabetes, for example, is a disease that can alter the vascular and neurological function of the Penis. For a Diabetic, who has penile dysfunction and erection problems, altered sensation and penile mass reduction is not uncommon. In this case, medical therapy would be the first line of treatment utilizing the most current medications, suppositories, injectables, and if needed, implantable erectile devices that aid in achieving and maintaining an erection. Penile Enlargement does play a role in diabetic erectile dysfunction (ED). An enlarged Penis would increase the sensation, by the increased pressure upon sexual penetration, and allow an enhanced blood flow response resulting in a more firm and possibly longer lasting erection.
A person with Peyronie’s Disease can be helped as well. Peyronie’s Disease affects the penile shaft by causing a fibrotic type of reaction/scarring resulting in a shrinking and curving of a portion of the Penile Shaft. This, in turn, affects the blood flow and erectile tissue and subsequently causing a size reduction of the Penis as a whole. Penile enlargement can restore a majority of the penile size and shape, which makes the Platinum Procedure a serious consideration in your choice of treatment options, not only because of the enlargement results, but the safety aspects of the non-surgical minimally invasive technique.
A person, who may have suffered Trauma to the Genital area, whether from burns, direct blunt injury, war injury, or any other ordeal that may alter the shape and size of the Penis and Scrotum, can obtain correction to some degree in most if not all cases. The degree of success and meeting the patient’s expectations will be determined after a medical examination has been performed.
The psychological aspect of this issue of Male Enhancement has been mainly handed over to the media. What the media says has been taken as Gospel truth by most, unfortunately. What is spoken on TV, heard on Radio, discussed among peers, or what has been read over the internet or newspapers, has trumped or has become more important than the facts that appeal to reason and truth. This issue is complicated. The Cosmetic Surgeons at Loria Medical deal with this issue on a daily basis. We know and understand that psychological ‘trauma’ is just as real as the physical trauma. Within the mind there is no real distinction between the two. We treat, as we ought to, this psychological element as a real and serious issue because of the debilitating nature of the psychological stress involved.
As you can see, there are many reasons as to why one would desire a penile enlargement and/or Scrotal Enhancement. Many men have chosen not to move forward and enlarge their penile shaft –glans- or scrotum simply due to fear of having a surgical procedure performed and the risks associated with them. You need not worry about this anymore because, as you have already read above, there is now a new, non-traditional method, called the Platinum Procedure, which is effective and much safer than the surgical methods available today. It is simply an excellent alternative method of enlarging the penis and/or scrotal areas without the major risks of surgery.
